‘I met Masha Maroutitch when she was one of the selected young people at the NYT Epic Stages courses I was co-facilitating. Her writing, directing and performance skills were obvious as exceptional and since that time I’ve been really impressed by her absolute dedication and motivation to create her own innovative and challenging work, collaborating with talented peers in various mediums. She is already realising her ambition to put work that addresses difficult, important issues and pushes boundaries. Any support she gains at this crucial time of her development will no doubt enable her to be one of the most exciting artists of the future in the UK.’
